Dr. Pamela Zaber
Associate veterinarian Dr. Pamela Zaber has cared for pets at Capitaland Animal Hospital since 2006. A veterinarian for more than 20 years, Dr. Zaber has practiced medicine in several states, including Wisconsin, Florida, Missouri and New York.
She attended the University of Illinois and received her Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science in 1982. Dr. Zaber continued her veterinary education at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine and was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1988. Dermatology and ophthalmology are among her many professional interests.
Dr. Zaber and her husband, Andrew Rapoff, are the proud parents of a daughter, Eva. Their family also includes Piper, a German Shepherd/Doberman Pinscher mix. When she's not busy with her duties at the hospital, she enjoys hiking, gardening and camping, as well as reading and photography.
