Intercat aggression after a trip to the vet-

Have you ever brought one of your cats to the veterinary office only to return home and have his best buddy attack him like a stranger?  This is not an uncommon occurrence and it happens because cats recognize each other more by smell than sight.  The cat that visits the veterinary clinic returns home with foreign smells and is received like a stranger, even though the cats might have been sleeping together that morning.  Some individuals are more likely to demonstrate this behavior than others.  Here are some tips to reduce the risk of intercat aggression:
